We're heading into the cold months, so it's high time to bring out our best autumn outfits!
The leaves are starting to fall, it's getting dark early, and raincoats are making their appearance... you could almost say it's autumn. While we're reluctantly saying goodbye to summer, we're secretly excited to pull our best fall fits out of the closet. If you're in need of some style inspiration for this season, you've come to the right place.
As we all know by now, Dutch weather can be quite unpredictable. In the morning, you're shivering on your bike, and before you know it, you're enjoying the last rays of sunshine of the year on a terrace. With a layered outfit, you're prepared for anything. For example, throw a cozy cardigan over your outfit, just like Gae. This way, you can adjust your outfit throughout the day according to the temperature without compromising on your look.
When you open your curtains in the morning and are greeted by a dark sky and raindrops, you'd rather stay in your pajamas all day, right? Unfortunately, that's not always possible, but a nice oversized outfit comes pretty close. Almost as comfortable as your loungewear, but just a tad more stylish. How comfy does Marvel look in his big gray sweater?
You can't go wrong with black, white, and gray. Especially if you're going for the mentioned layered look, these colors are a good option. But also let yourself be inspired by the beautiful colors that autumn has to offer and incorporate these shades into your outfit. For example, go for a combination of warm, dark colors like Menzo and style it with a neutral beige base, so you'll fit right into the autumn picture. This season, our shelves are once again filled with all the colors you need to give your outfit that extra bit of fall spice.
Of course, you can't face the autumn weather without a good pair of weather-proof sneakers. A dark sneaker is always a good idea for the fall; besides the colors fitting well within the autumn palette, your shoes are also less susceptible to mud stains that are inevitable after a heavy rain shower. Whether dark or light sneakers, always spray them with a water and dirt repellent protector spray to keep them looking fresh for as long as possible. If, like us, you hate having wet feet, we have several sneakers in our collection that, with their water-repellent materials, will ensure your feet stay dry, how nice is that?
Those were a few of our style tips, but of course, we won't leave you without a few sneaker tips to complete your fall style. Check them out below!
