The New Balance 550 is an iconic sneaker with a rich history. In the 1980s, New Balance introduced this new basketball sneaker and this model was instantly loved. Then it disappeared into New Balance's archives for 20 years. In 2021, they returned in a limited edition and so a new favorite among sneaker lovers was born. What had a major impact on the popularity of this model was the collaboration between New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore. This collaboration created a huge hype on the New Balance 550 and everyone wanted a pair. With every release, there were crazy long lines.

The 'sea salt rosewood' has a few shades of yellow, blue and pink on the heel and white all over the upper. The 'sea salt blue laguna' also has a white upper and some brighter colors on the heel such as pink, blue and deep green. Would you like to keep it a bit cleaner and just one color? Then the 'green gum' colorway is a good option. The entire upper is white and you will find green details. Besides this, this colorway also has some other details. For example, the name of this colorway says it all, a gum sole has been added. Furthermore, there is a suede patch on the toe cap and chunky mesh on the heel and tongue.
