We previously described the New Balance 480 as the older sibling of the 550. The hype around the 550 was unprecedented, but this classic model also deserves a bit of the shine. The silhouette is simpler, which gives the shoe a certain charm. A good basic to grab if you want to add a vintage touch to your outfit and don't want to put too much focus on your footwear.
The model has already had a few noteworthy moments, such as the interpretation of skateboarding legend Andrew Reynolds. This court design gained fame not only in the basketball world but also among skaters. These new colorways are cleaner due to the fully leather finish, unlike the previous suede releases. We offer them in a black and white panda color and a beige shade, this calm color is now very popular with designers. The predecessors of these 480 colorways were one of our best-selling sneakers in the summer of '23. The new price is also very reasonable which makes the sneaker extra attractive.
