A sneaker with a rich history
The Puma Suede VTG has a rich history. It has been a part of various subcultures and cultural moments; therefore, this sneaker is well-known. People like to pay tribute to it by referencing famous moments, such as when Tommie Smith wore them during the 1968 Olympics protest. The Puma Suede was also very popular with New York City's B-Boys in the '80s.
With the design of the Suede VTG, Puma pays homage to the OG version of the Puma Suede. This sneaker has featured many special collaborations in the past and is now available in blue and pink colorways. They may look a bit different from the chunky sneakers we normally have, but we can even make them chunky as well. If you lace them extra loose, you can add an extra insole to make this silhouette look bulky.
