Asphaltgold drops an original in collaboration with Saucony.
The underlying thought of this collab is accelerate & decelerate, speed up and slow down. The sneaker world is a market that is constantly changing and innovating. As a company, we also set high goals and work towards them, and when we have achieved those goals? Then there are new higher points to strive for.
Saucony and Asphaltgold go deep for this design. The polarization of the theme represents Yin and Yang. The Old Chinese representation of cosmic duality. This is a reference to the original running shoes on which the 6000 is based. Without rest, a person cannot run. Often brands focus on the Yang, the dynamic and strong. For this collab, Saucony focuses on the Yin, the rest and the soft.
This lifestyle sneaker is characterized by the extra soft mesh, which looks a bit like a cushion when you press your finger into it. Furthermore, it is surrounded by suede. On the nose, a small logo is sewn as an extra touch. The off-white color is complemented by silver and olive.
