Let's quickly refresh your memory about Karhu before we dive into this new model. This Finnish sports brand was founded in Helsinki in 1916. Although Karhu's success began with a popular running shoe, it now plays a significant role in everyday street style. At BijSmaak, Karhu has become an essential part of our collection.

When we say brand new, we mean truly brand new. The silhouette is not what we're used to from Karhu. With a thick sole and an upper made of sturdy mesh with synthetic overlays in various colors and textures, the introduction of The Super Fulcrum marks Karhu's entry into the runner trend. Fortunately, this sneaker isn't completely unfamiliar to Karhu enthusiasts. The iconic M-symbol ensures that we can still hold on to that familiar Karhu feeling.

Now, let's talk about The Super Fulcrum. This retro runner with a modern twist is based on an earlier prototype that Karhu made in 2016: the Super Fast. Although it was never released, the concept of this sneaker kept nagging at the Karhu team. Now The Super Fulcrum is here, incorporating all the technical features of the Super Fast, complemented with some extra modern innovations. This new model has everything Karhu dreamed of in 2016.

The 2016 prototype was already equipped with various features that give these sneakers their comfort, but The Super Fulcrum adds some extra support to the upper of the shoe through the 'Finnish Line' technology. This runner owes its name to the Fulcrum midsole, which reduces pressure on the heel and moves with the natural motion of the body.
