Puma X STAPLE slipstream pristine malachite.
The Puma Slipstream was first sold in 1987 as a basketball shoe. Without losing honor to this version, Puma has come with a new design. This release is a tribute to the Grida, a newspaper founded in 1969 in California. At the time, the paper gave a voice to the Asian-American population during the civil rights movement. The sneaker is inspired by the 60s and the Ivy League culture, a reference to the union of east and west. The tongue label represents the co-branding through a yin yang sign. The tongue is made of mesh and the upper is made of suede.
